Eid yesterday

Hope all’s well there. Yesterday was Eid in Singapore. So yesterday was a day of celebration for us Muslims in the country. I celebrated the day doing the utmost usual thing I would do on this day, which is to be out the entire time. Eid '07 for me was kick-started with the family at the Ba‘alwie Mosque for Eid prayer, and then it was followed by plentiful house visits and an endless consumption of the Eid cuisine. Despite the usual things I normally get down to on Eid, I found yesterday simply as unique and special as it had always been each year, and I am really glad for that. Today, Eid celebration continues for most Muslim families in Singapore, and mine is no different. But with the weather a bit rainy yesterday, I could only hope that today, the weather would be better so that we can all have a smooth journey on the road as we make our visits to relatives’ homes. Anyhow am quite running out of time now to get ready for another whole day of the Eid celebration. So I guess I better keep this post short. So until then, please take care. On my part however, I will try to update this blog as much as I can despite the busy festive season.
