Smoke from the neighbouring Indonesian forest fire regions are getting really bad here in Singapore. The smoke not only reduces visibility, but also affects health.
My throat feels sick since the occurrence of the forest fire haze, and I just feel choked every time I leave my windows open, supposedly to let some fresh air in. For the past few days my entire flat has been smoky. Can you believe it? Since the forest fires took place, I have been seeing, smelling and breathing in dense smog and this happens not only when I'm out but also when I'm home. This is all because the haze, which is getting bad, is not only suspended in the sky but also staying composed in my living room, dining room, balcony, kitchen, bedrooms, everywhere! It is as though the forest fires are taking place right here in the nearby park just in front of my home!!
And the air that I breathe smells so terribly. I'm just hating it! Really. Sometimes I try not to breathe as the smoke in my flat gets dense, but I know doing so doesn't make the situation any better. This is sick! And some groups of residents here in Singapore are comfortably contributing to the air pollution. wtf
