Ramadhan updates, if you care to know.

Ramadhan’s been alright so far. But I guess I can’t say much about it yet especially when fasting’s gone pretty easy in the last five days - no work, just plain resting at home. Whilst fasting’s been easy, Kenji and I, on the other hand, have been having a lot of difficulty waking up for sahur though. Each time the alarm went off (at 4:30 a.m.), we’d turn it off and get back to sleep (and then ended up waking up again only at 5:44 a.m., - by the time sahur was over for all Muslims in Singapore). But we continued fasting nevertheless and so far survived those sahur-less days, which also convinced me time and again that it’s the intention that’s doing the trick. Other than sahur and fasting, the breaking of fast hasn’t been all too fun as compared to previous years’. I have been breaking fast alone at home. Plus, the food that I’ve been breaking my fast with has been kind of boring. Also, I haven’t dropped by any bazaars yet, and, been too lazy to get started on the terawih prayers. So looking forward to do some of these beginning this weekend…

Hello Saudari Lee! Thanks for the message. Here's wishing you and hubby Selamat hari raya too. May this year's Eid celebration be as meaningful as your previous ones had been to the both of you.

Thank you for visiting this blog!
