So, America has finally decided.

With the announcement of Obama’s victory last night, I am glad and certainly relieved to know that the 17-month search for President Bush’s successor has finally come to an end.

I hope news reports of Obama or Clinton on Singapore TV would cease following as closely as it did during the Presidential Election, now that Obama's already won and Clinton's ended her historic candidacy.

No sound reason for that though. I just thought it rather odd for a country like Singapore to 'care so much' about United States' Presidential election.

The local media here has been feeding its people with very frequent updates of it as though Singapore is a part of America, and as though Singaporeans couldn't get the updates online.

Doesn't Singapore have its own local news to cover?
