Urban dwellers

Kenji and I saw an eagle this morning. It was not a new sight yet it was still kind of rare for us. The eagle has been seen flying around the estate lately, and I have been quite bowled over by its frequent visits on this odd occasion. I really wonder where it could have come from or whose eagle it was though I guess I'm happy to think it is just a local bird coming from the Singapore Zoo. Then again I don’t care. To me, what's most important after all is, it was totally a nice sight!

Speaking of the eagle however reminds me of an insect whose picture I took whilst it was laying eggs on my window about 9 days ago…and just now it’s eggs cracked up and the babies began to crawl out. You might want to check the pictures out!

Arrow pointing to the insect, which was on the window of my flat.

This is the insect at a closer look. Umm, I still don't know what insect it is unfortunately. But does anyone??

The insect started to lay its eggs after being on the window for quite a while. I tried taking a photo of it without flash but it turned out pretty bad. So this photo was taken with flash as you might be able to tell, and I know it's a very bad thing because I was practically disturbing the insect's delivery moments - I'm so sorry.

Four babies started to appear on the window 9 days later. Eight others are still in the case...

That's all folks. Till next time.
