Singapore Like You've Always Seen It.

Here are some pictures of Singapore. Taken over 2007. Nothing special, simply Singapore. Maybe just less crowded, that's all. Captions later. Enjoy.

My favourite is the 3rd photo. The layout of the train lines, pedestrian crossing and curvy line of the block of flats makes it an interesting composition.

interesting composition? really??

Wow!

Your comment makes me go, "wow". That is, not after looking back at my 3rd photo but by looking at the way you appreciate it.

I mean, you have such great capability to evaluate things in a different but unique (photographer's/artistic?) point of view. I still couldn't see the way you saw it. I really thought the 3rd photo was plain. Haha!

But it's cool, the way you saw it. Really. And thank you for having a favourite photo in this post!

big Nana, what??!! It's your husband? Really?? Haha! That's funny. I really thought it was a man a lot younger than us!! Because that was what he looked like from my bedroom windows, at least. Haha! But anyway, I took the photo because I wanted to share it with friends especially those who have never lived in Singapore. I wanted them to know that we have the service of these men (that includes your husband and his colleague who is not in the pic) to keep our estates clean from pests. And personally, I think these men are some kind of hero as I think it isn't a very easy thing to do especially for the fact that they are continuously exposed to chemicals in the spray. Well, whatever it is, I really appreciate their service and have always enjoyed watching them do the job. Please help me say "thank you" to your husband. Thanks. And thanks to you, too, for letting me know that it is him in the pic. Haha! Go keep the photo! - small Nana
